Adrienne Peña-Garza
She’s a connector with quiet strength, compassionate leader, a team player and a strategist. She builds partnerships, provides guidance and connects communities, especially rural America, to USDA programs and resources.
She has served in multiple leadership roles for over 20 years and has extensive experience in business development, public service, strategic growth, government relations, community service, fundraising and leadership development. She was elected in Texas and served for 6 years in public office. She also served 9 years on the Magic Valley Electric Board. Prior to that served 5 years on the Pharr Economic Development Corporation and several notable nonprofit boards. She founded Pena-Garza Consulting in 2015 and is known for her personable and innovative approach to solving challenges, leveraging relationships to help the greater good and guiding businesses, communities, nonprofits, campaigns, and organizations toward stronger outcomes. Her work includes brand building, outreach and recruitment, and leadership development. She served on the grassroots level and established a presence on regional, state, and national levels. In 2017, she represented Texas in Taiwan as part of a diplomatic delegation. Texas Governor Greg Abbott then appointed Adrienne to serve on the Family Practice Residency Advisory Committee in 2019. The role of the committee was to review applications and funding for family practice residency training programs in Texas. She was then awarded Woman of the Year for the Young Republican National Federation in 2019 and has been a Club for Growth Alumni since 2022.
In February 2025, Adrienne was honored to be appointed by President Donald J. Trump as Associate Director at the Presidential Personal Office for the first 100 days. She was then proud to join Secretary Brooke Rollins at the United States Department of Agriculture as Senior Advisor for the Office of Partnerships and Public Engagement. Adrienne has a passion for service and is deeply committed to building and fostering strong partnerships, empowering others and driving meaningful change while serving not just the future of Texas but the entire country. She also aspires one day to serve and create a positive impact globally. A servant leader at heart and someone who stands boldly when called. Adrienne holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas–Pan American with minors in Communications, Political Science, and Sociology. Her community service includes involvement with the RGV Food Bank Board, Pharr Economic Development Corporation, Magic Valley Electric Board, the Boys and Girls Club of Pharr, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the RGV, and the Rio Grande Valley Literacy Center and Rotary International. Adrienne is married to her best friend of 26 years and is the proud mother of two grown sons. Her father is a former State Representative who currently serves as Justice to an appellate court of appeals and her husband’s family have been in the produce industry for generations. Outside of her professional endeavors, she enjoys cooking nutritious meals for family and friends, exploring history and culture, traveling and giving back to those in need, growing in her faith and listening to a wide variety of music.
